Aeration
Aeration of the entire water column can help reduce excess nutrients in your water-body that promote algal growth and help prevent build-up of organic matter on the water bottom. Aeration also helps prevent thermal stratification during seasonal temperature fluctuations, balances pH levels and improves overall water quality. We offer recommendations and installation of whole water column aeration systems. We also install and maintain water fountains designed for improving the esthetics of your pond environment.
Lake Management
Maintaining your lakefront property in Tennessee and Virginia has become increasingly difficult with the introduction of exotic (non-native) aquatic plants to the TVA lake environment. As such, plants such as Euarasian watermilfoil and Hydrilla verticillata can invade and overtake your dock areas reducing or even preventing swimming and/or boating activities. We can provide an effective control program to correct problems created by these invasive plants and allow you to regain use of your lakefront property as intended.

Algae Control
Excess algal growth is caused by many factors but typically excess nutrients, such as phosphorus and nitrate, are the prime reason. Nutrients can enter the water-body via surface run-off from the adjoining watershed or storm-water drains directly. We offer numerous management solutions to help assist in both preventing nutrients from entering the water-body, as well as methods to help reduce excess nutrients that may already be present.
Pond Management
Aquatic weed growth in an open pond system is a dynamic process that may be altered over time due to changes in site hydrology, presence of migrating and/or nesting waterfowl, or other human and wildlife impacts. We provide an aquatic weed control program to properly manage problematic algae identified in your waterbody. Various options exist in the management of the problematic aquatic vegetation including biological, chemical and/or physical methods.
